Introduction and Overview

TypeRoom Professional is an integrated website hosting and CMS environment that keeps things simple for designers and developers. The system includes everything needed to maintain a website (even including support requests from your customers).

TypeRoom Works with Your Skill Level

TypeRoom Professional can work with designers and developers of all technical skill levels.

  • No Knowledge of Programming: Just send us your custom design and we can take care of all of the programming. You give us your design, and we will give you a fully programmed editable site on TypeRoom Professional, hosted with RackSpace.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS: You should be able to integrate a website with TypeRoom Professional without a problem. Just make sure to put your menus in unordered lists. If you run into anything complex, or have any questions that aren't in the documentation, just contact us. We can either integrate your templates for you, or give you some basic training you how to do this for the future.
  • Developer with PHP, HTML and CSS Knowledge: TypeRoom's Plugin system allows you to create custom functionality ranging from tie-ins to other open source applications like WordPress, to creating custom database driven applications.

Hosting

TypeRoom Professional comes bundled with a RackSpace "Cloud Sites" hosting account. This robust hosting environment allows your client's sites to be published across multiple servers for speed and redundancy. Because the CMS and hosting are integrated, you don't even have to worry about setup or configuration.

Even though the CMS is configured to automatically publish to this hosting account, you can point TypeRoom Professional to nearly any Linux server and it can work work there, too.
