Domain Name Settings

Once you are ready to make your website live, you will most likely want to point your domain to our servers. Below we've outlined the steps to do so.

Pointing your Domain to Our Servers

  1. Locate access information for your DNS provider. This may be your current host or your domain registrar, such as GoDaddy or Network Solutions.
  2. In TypeRoom, open the Publish Settings window and note down the Server IP value.
  3. From within your DNS management tool, point the A record for your domain name to the Server IP address from step 2. You may want to point both the www and non-www domains to this address.

Changes can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate, although, it typically takes less than 4 hours. If you're TypeRoom site is not instantly live, please allow this time while the changes are being made.
