TypeRoom Lite Publishing Help
Having trouble publishing in TypeRoom Lite? Let's see if we can help. We've listed the most common issues with publishing in TypeRoom Lite below.
Unable to connect to your server
The most common reason TypeRoom cannot publish to your server is an incorrect server path. Have we gone over your head? No need to worry. The server path is the location on your server where your website lives. The server path is most likely one of the following:
- /public_html
- /www
- /htdocs
- /httpdocs
- /
If you've tried all of these and it still doesn't work, please contact your hosting provider. If you certain the server path is correct, verify the username and password are correct.

TypeRoom Lite uses a special technology to merge your changes back into your webpage. While it works perfectly in most cases, some content is not properly detected by our system and therefore fails to publish.
The most common reason for this is invalid code in the section that is being edited. To fix this, verify the validity of the code (the W3C Validator — and a possibly developer — can help with this).
If the code is valid and still does not publish, fear not — we're working on it! Every failed publish error is emailed to our developers so we can tune our publish system to work with your site.

If you have two instances of the content you are editing, TypeRoom Lite will not be able to properly publish. To fix this, try modifying one of the instances of content so there is no duplicate content on your page.
